CH-F plans to open new clinic in BJ

Community Hospital-Fairfax has announced plans to open a Family Medicine Clinic in Burlington Jct.

The projected opening date is October 2016. A modular unit is planned for the site. The clinic will offer a full service of family medicine and patients will be seen by either a family care physician or a nurse practitioner. Appointments can be made and walk-ins will be welcomed. The days and hours of operation have not been set.

With the recent announcement about Lindsay Allan, MD  joining the CH-F team in October, the hospital is now able to expand its clinic. Burlington Jct. will be the third clinic CH-F has opened since 2014. The other two are in Mound City and Oregon.

“Primary care access is absolutely essential to the health of a community,” said CH-F CEO Roger Steinkruger. “The more locations in our service area we can bring family medicine, the better it is for our communities.”
