Annual Torch Run sees large turnout

The annual law enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics saw a large turn out May 23.

James Runde, the coordinator since 2007, stated the run promotes awareness of individuals with disabilities being included in athletics. Runde also stated that Missouri is ranked sixth in the nation for the amount of money it raises for the event each year.
