The Nodaway County Republican Women will hold a meeting at 11:30 am, Thursday, February 7 at Pizza Ranch, Maryville.

The Maryville Public Library, 509 North Main Street, Maryville, will hold the following activities: • Book Nibblers, 9:45 to 10:15 am, Thursday, February 7. For infants to age three; must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. • “Love, Love, Love” Story Hour, for infants to age six, 5:30 to 6:30 pm, Thursday, February 7.

Today’s Civic Women will meet at 5:30 pm, Tuesday, February 5 in the Maryville Public Library basement meeting room. Everyone is welcome.

The Friends Caring group will meet at 4 pm, Thursday, February 7 in the Friendship Hall, First United Methodist Church, 102 North Main Street, Maryville. Friends Caring is for individuals of all ages who find themselves alone, either by choice, divorce, death or other circumstances. The hour of sharing, scripture led by Rev. Marjean Ehlers

Invisible Illness Support Group meets at 7:30 pm, Monday, February 4 at Laura Street Baptist Church, 120 South Laura Street, Maryville. The meetings are open to the public.

Hopkins Community Betterment will hold its monthly meeting at 6:30 pm, Monday, February 4 at the Hopkins Baptist Church basement. All interested individuals are invited to attend.

The Pickering Christian Church is conducting an outreach mission. Free bread and sweets may be picked up from 4:30 to 6:30 pm, Monday, February 4 at the east basement door.

The Parnell American Legion Post 528 will hold a fundraiser pancake breakfast from 8 am to noon, Sunday, February 3 at the Legion Hall. Free will donation.

The DAR Nodaway Chapter will meet at 10 am, Saturday, February 9 at the First United Methodist Church, Maryville.

The Graham Lions Club will host an all-you-can-eat fish, mountain oysters and chicken fry from 4:30 to 7 pm, Saturday, February 2 at the Graham Community Building. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children.
