Nodaway-Holt R-VII met on November 21 to accept the resignation of Superintendent Karma Coleman and to conduct the following business: Board members accepted Superintendent Karma Coleman’s letter of resignation during its November 21 meeting. Approximately 37 West Nodaway students got their teeth examined by a traveling dentist who visited the school on November 4. The Big Smiles mobile dental program works across 24 states serving infants to high school students. Big Smiles has been available in Missouri for 10 of the program’s 24 years. Members of American Legion Post 464, Conception Jct., are thanked by Jefferson C-123 students on November 17. The school holds an annual lunch and program for the Tri-C community veterans on the Thursday before Thanksgiving. This allows veterans to attend the school’s observance and other Veterans Day celebrations.
