Cruise night set
Cruise Night for automobile, truck and motorcycle owners begins at 6:30 pm, Thursday, July 21 on East Fourth Street, Maryville, on the north side of the Nodaway County Courthouse.
Hopkins Museum is open
The Hopkins Museum on North Third Street will be open from 1 to 3 pm, Tuesday, July 19 and 26. There is no admission fee. Hosts will be Isabel Blackney on July 19 and Pat and Garland O’Riley on July 26.
Snow birds plan get-together
Nodaway County residents who spend the winter in Texas are planning a get-together at 11:30 am, Tuesday, July 19 at Pizza Hut, 732 South Main Street.
Post 464 to host pancake breakfast
American Legion Post 464 will hold a pancake breakfast from 7 to 11:30 am, Sunday, July 17, at the legion post, Conception Jct. Pancakes, sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, juice and coffee will be served. Cost is $7 per person; children six and under are free. Proceeds will benefit the Tri-C Memorial Post 464.

Legion Post 256 to host steak dinner
The Maitland-Graham Legion Post 256 is sponsoring a steak dinner beginning at 4:30 pm, Saturday, July 16, at the legion building in Maitland. The cost is $12, with a child’s plate of hot dogs and chips being served for $3.
