Scarecrow contest gets underway in Downtown Maryville

The Downtown Maryville organization is once again sponsoring the Scarecrow Contest.

To promote community spirit, businesses and organizations in the downtown area will have themed scarecrows outside their place of business or in business windows starting at noon, Friday, October 20.

Judging will take place on Friday, October 27, with the scarecrows remaining up until Friday, November 3. The winning business will be presented with a traveling trophy.
