The North Nodaway R-VI Board of Education met in open and closed sessions on March 15. One bid was received on the mowing contract for 2017. Colby Wiederholt, Maryville, will return to mow both of the school grounds as approved by the board. In closed session, the minutes from the previous closed session were approved.

The Jefferson C-123 school board approved a sports co-op during its regular meeting March 15. The school board approved to co-op junior high sports including football, softball, basketball and track with South Nodaway for the 2017-18 school year. St. Gregory’s students in Jamie Casteel’s third grade bounce throughout the class as they sit on stability balls.
