The Platte Valley Eagles came away from the Cameron Tournament on September 3 with a first place finish in the silver bracket after they defeated Richmond 10-3, lost to Savannah 2-7, defeated DeKalb 5-3, and defeated Lawson 3-1.
The team includes: front, Katelyn Kramer, Ashley Riley, Elizabeth Turpin, Mikayla Mattson, Stephanie Chor, Kaylin LaMaster, Josie Deen, Kelsi McQuinn, Megan Galbraith and Alyson Jones; back, Coach Rachel Denne, Ashley Mattson, Kellie Palmer, Sarah Chor, Kayla Schmitz, Coach Shelly Deen, Amber White, Lacy Carlson and Coach Adam Henry.
