All current and former residents of the Clearmont area are invited to a carry-in dinner on Sunday, October 15 at the Little Red Schoolhouse in Clearmont. The dinner will begin at 12:30 pm. The community club will provide drinks and table service. Attendees should bring lawn chairs.

American Legion Post 464 will sponsor a pancake breakfast from 7 to 11 am, Sunday, October 15 at the legion post, Conception Jct. Pancakes, sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, juice and coffee will be served. Cost is a $7 minimum donation per person; children six and under are free. Proceeds benefit various veterans programs.
The Elmo Fish Fry is from 5 to 7 pm, Saturday, October 14 at the Elmo Community Building. In addition to fish, there will be fried chicken, jacket fries, lettuce salad, coleslaw and baked beans. Cost is $9. Proceeds go toward the Elmo 4th of July event sponsored by Elmo Community Betterment.
