Hounds take over in win against LeBlond Eagles
Maryville Spoofhound soccer’s Thomas DiStefano rips a shot past incoming LeBlond defenders September 13 in his hat-trick game at Donaldson Westside Park. Hospital president gives $50,000 to preschool

Burlington Jct. honors tradition with fall festival
Burlington Jct. residents and local farmers celebrated the fall harvest with the city’s annual Farmers Fall Festival. The festival has taken different names over the years, but festival organizers wanted to honor the original festival by bringing back the name from those first years. Skidmore council continues on nuisances, parking
On September 13, the Skidmore City Council voted to have City Attorney Bob Sundell send out nuisance ordinance and parking ordinance violation letters to the owners of seven properties. Pickering reviews sewer proposal
City Clerk Milt Sovereign discussed the recent sewer proposal submitted by Brock Pfost, of White Cloud Engineering, at the September 5 Pickering City Council meeting. The proposal calls for $15,000 worth of repairs to bring the Pickering sewer plant back to its original condition. This is a larger amount than the city coffers can handle
