Laura Street Baptist Church held its annual Water Wars youth games on August 5. Local firefighters closed Laura Street and allowed youth to use fire hoses in competitive games.

Twenty-three Northeast Nodaway seventh- to twelfth-grade students attended band camp August 8-13. They will host a practice performance at noon, Saturday, August 13 at the school. Lunch and games will follow.
