The Clearmont United Methodist Church will host a Lord’s Acre dinner and country store bazaar from 4 to 7 pm, Saturday, October 29. Donations will be accepted for the dinner featuring pulled pork sandwiches, chili, vegetable soup, brownies and pumpkin bars. The country store will feature breads, jams, jellies and other items.

Republican gubernatorial candidate Eric Greitens is on a bus tour across Missouri and will be in Maryville on Friday, October 28. There will be a campaign rally for him at 3:30 pm at the Maryville Country Club. This is not a fundraiser, but a rally to show support for his candidacy.

The First United Methodist Church youth group will hold a $5 sloppy joe lunch from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, Saturday, October 29 at the Wesley Center lawn by the Northwest Missouri State University campus.
