Northwest to host Extension council meeting

Steve Devlin, MU Extension program director and assistant dean for industrial relations and entrepreneurship, will meet with local business leaders and organizations at Northwest to discuss creating research-based, high-technology businesses.

Interested individuals are invited to the meeting at 1 pm, Monday, September 12 at the Dean L. Hubbard Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, located at the northeast corner of the Northwest campus.

The meeting agenda is as follows:

1 pm – Welcome and brief introduction, Dr. Christopher Wallace, Nodaway County Extension Council member

1:10 to 2 pm – CIE tour, Dr. Mark Corson, Northwest Department of Natural Sciences chair

2 to 4 pm – MU Extension’s role in Nodaway County economic development, Devlin

4 to 4:30 pm – Discussion
