Northeast Nodaway R-V school board met on November 17 to conduct the following business:

Title 1 teacher Linda Primm presented a summary of the Title 1 program and told board members she received a new iPad this year which has benefited her classroom.

Agricultural education teacher Philip Doty gave the board an overview of the ag program. There are 32 FFA members and he is looking for grants to replace his classroom computers which are not functioning properly.

Principal Ken Grove recognized Victoria Moran and Brayden Welch as October students of the month.

The school had 31 veterans attend its Veterans Day services, the highest number to date.

Thirty-three senior citizens attended the senior citizen dinner.

The blood drive will be December 14 from 2 to 6 pm.

Assistant Principal Jason McDowell gave board members instructions on how to set up a twitter account so they can follow school tweets.

The next board meeting will be Monday, December 12.

The board retired into closed session.
