Nazarene Church hosts Kingdom Awakening

Kingdom Awakening, a fresh filling of God’s purity and power, will begin at 7 pm, Monday, November 5 through Wednesday, November 7 at the Maryville Church of the Nazarene, 1139 South Munn, Maryville.

Evangelist Rob McCorkle will be the speaker and The Wrights will provide music for the three-day event. Both are part of Dan Bohi Ministries, Gardner, KS. Admission is free. A free will offering will be accepted.

McCorkle completed his doctor of ministry from the United Theological Seminary, Dayton, OH, in 2013. He is the founder of Fire School Ministries, “a ministry organization with the distinct purpose of re-digging the wells in the Holiness movement.” He speaks at weekend crusades, revivals and conferences.

“This time of worship and teaching of God’s Word will change the lives of those who attend,” said Church of the Nazarene Pastor Laura Rand. “If you are hungering for more of God in your lives or if you are questioning God’s purpose for you, please come.

“It will not only help you to know your value to Jesus and the power and the authority that you walk with, as a child of God, but you will encounter a living God and he will forever change your life,” she explained.
