ssm jogoSSM Health Medical Group is bringing two doctors to Maryville. Dr. Lori Snook and Dr. Leah Habersham will join the office on September 12.

“This is an excellent opportunity for our team to improve our access for patients in the area,” Physician Practice Administration Director Andrea Anderson said. “The current doctors are looking forward to having help to serve our patient population, especially Dr. Jane Dawson who is easing into retirement.”

Family practice physician Snook received her medical degree from the University of Health Sciences – College of Medicine in Kansas City. She completed her residency training at UMKC. For the past eight years, Snook worked as an urgent-care provider in St. Joseph, serving as medical director of the urgent care clinic since 2013.

Habersham, obstetrician/gynecologist, received her medical degree from the Saba University School of Medicine, Saba, Netherlands-Antilles. She completed her obstetrics/gynecology residency training at The Brooklyn Hospital Center, Brooklyn, NY. During her residency, Dr. Habersham participated in the Healthy Bronx Initiative providing health education workshops at elementary schools and speaking publicly about social, economic and environmental factors and their impact on health.
