Humane Society offers half price adoptions, spay, neuter vouchers

Now through December 30, the New Nodaway Humane Society Animal Shelter is offering half-price adoptions with the Home for the Holidays promotion. Dogs and kittens are $40 and cats are $30. Puppies under six months and high profile breeds are excluded. The adoption fee includes spay or neuter, vaccinations and microchip.

For community members with intact animals, the shelter is offering Community Spay and Neuter again to start November 17. There are 33 vouchers available, which are worth $40 towards a spay or neuter and are good for 30 days.

Nodaway Veterinary Clinic, Francis Veterinary Clinic and Town and Country Veterinary will accept the vouchers. Certain rules will apply for eligibility. For more information, contact the animal shelter at 660.562.3333 or visit the shelter at 829 South Depot, Maryville.
