The 2018 NBA draft concluded last week with the selection of 60 players over two rounds. During the past five years, 2014-2018, more than 300 players were compiled to produce this per-capita production map of drafted basketball players based on where they went to high school. The middle of the country or the Heartland indicates an area of higher production. Thirty percent of the draftees have been college freshmen. Twenty-four percent of the draftees were from outside the US.
