Taylar Freemyer, son of Bryan and Carrie Freemyer and a senior at South Nodaway, was named a 2018 Wendy’s High School Heisman School winner.

Freemyer was one of over 7,500 scholar-athletes named as a school winner from the nearly 42,000 applicants. To apply, students must be graduating with the 2019 class, have a cumulative high school grade point average of a B or 3.0 or better, participate in a least one of the 47 sports recognized by the International Olympic committee and/or the National Federation of State High School Association and be a leader in his/her school and community.
