David Icke

Vancil David Icke, 74, died Saturday, February 22, 2025.

He was born December 18, 1951, to Vancil Icke and Mary Elizabeth “Betty” Pope Icke in Maryville.

He grew up in Barnard where he attended South Nodaway. He attended the technical school in Chillicothe.

Mr. Icke worked for Sears Roebuck and Co., where he retired after 32 years of service. He was a truck driver after retirement, which was a highlight of his working career.

A celebration of life is planned from 1 to 3:30 pm, Saturday, March 1 at the Knights Of Columbus Hall at 1205 North 49th Terrace, St. Joseph.
