Maryville council approves add-on features to conference center

The Maryville City Council approved a $156,417 change order for the Mozingo Lake Recreation Park Conference Center during its regular meeting March 27. Last fall, in order to stay on-budget city staff removed several value-engineering items from the project. The change order adds the construction of several items back to the project at reduced cost.

Local farmers organize relief effort

Several Nodaway and Holt County farmers recently felt a calling to aid fellow livestock ranchers in Oklahoma after the devastating wildfires.
