Local farmers organize relief effort

Several Nodaway and Holt County farmers recently felt a calling to aid fellow livestock ranchers in Oklahoma after the devastating wildfires. They began gathering a few bales of hay to truck to Gate, OK. The mission grew into nine semi-loads of hay, a hopper of shelled corn and a semi-truck full of miscellaneous aid items.
