Spoofhound soccer takes 3rd at state

The Maryville High School Spoofhound soccer team beat Fair Grove 5-0 to place third at the Class 1 MSHSAA Soccer Championships on November 20 in Fenton. It was the team’s highest finish in school history. The Hounds lost 1-0 in the semifinals the day before to the eventual state champions, Lutheran St. Charles.

Post Season Honors

All 275 Conference Football Honorees Players from the Nodaway Valley and Platte Valley teams were named to the first team. They were: offense, Carter Luke, Platte Valley junior running back and Trevor Weir, Platte Valley junior center; defense, James Herr, Nodaway Valley senior defensive line, Will Cordell, Nodaway Valley senior linebacker, and Luke, defensive back.
