Fish fry is in Elmo

The Elmo Fish Fry is from 5 to 7 pm, Saturday, September 9, at the Elmo Community Building. Besides fish there will be fried chicken, jacket fries, lettuce salad, cole slaw and baked beans. Cost is $9. Proceeds go towards the Elmo 4th of July and is sponsored by the Elmo Community Betterment.

All you can eat fish and chicken with all the fixings, will be from 5 to 7 pm, Saturday, September 9, at the American Legion Post 100, 1104 East Fifth Street, Maryville. Cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children 11 and under. All proceeds go to support veterans programs.

The Burlington Jct. American Legion Post will have a breaded tenderloin sandwich supper from 5-7 pm, Friday, September 8, at the American Legion Building in Burlington Jct.
