AL Post 100 hosts breakfast in Maryville
American Legion Post 100 and Boy Scout Troop 190 are sponsoring a breakfast from 8 am to noon, Sunday, February 4 at the Legion Hall, 1104 East Fifth Street, Maryville. The Parnell American Legion Post 528 will hold a fundraiser pancake breakfast from 8 am to noon on Sunday, February 4 at the Legion Hall. Free will donation.
Graham Lions to sponsor fish, mountain oysters fry
The Graham Lions Club will host an all-you-can-eat fish, mountain oysters and chicken fry from 4:30 to 7 pm on Saturday, February 3 at the Graham Community Building. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children.
Beebusters offer beginner bee keeper classes
The Northwest Missouri Beebusters will be offering a beginner bee keeper classes from 1 to 4 pm, Saturday, February 3 at the Northwest Technical School. There is a $12 charge. Lions host soup, chili dinner in Pickering
The Pickering Lions Club will host a chili and vegetable soup dinner from 11 am to 2 pm, Saturday, January 27 at the Pickering Community Building. There will also be cake and coffee or tea. Donation proceeds will support community projects.
Hopkins to have beef, noodles dinner
The Hopkins Community Club will sponsor a beef and noodles dinner from 11 am to 1 pm, Sunday, January 28 at the Hopkins Community Building. The menu of homemade beef and noodles, mashed potatoes, green beans and salads costs $8 for adults and $3 for children. Proceeds support community projects.
Library lists week’s activities
The Maryville Public Library, 509 North Main Street, Maryville, will hold the following activities: • Coding Club for grades three to eight, 5:30 to 7 pm, Tuesday, January 30 and continues Tuesdays, February 6, 13, 20 and 27. The five-week coding course starts with coding a simple game. Each week, coding knowledge will be added.
