Due to the inclement weather forecast for Sunday, January 20, Skidmore Community Betterment has cancelled the chicken dinner fundraiser. No makeup date has been scheduled.
Due to potential winter weather, the West Nodaway 2019 After Prom committee’s 10-Point Pitch Tournament has been rescheduled for Saturday, February 2. The event will be held at 6 pm at West Nodaway High School in Burlington Jct. Doors will open at 5:30 pm and concessions will be available. The cost is $12 per person

The Elmo Fish Fry is from 5 to 7 pm, Saturday, January 12 at the Elmo Community Building. Besides fish, there will be fried chicken, potatoes, salads and drink. Cost is $9; children 12 and under are $5. Proceeds go toward community service projects and is sponsored by the Elmo Community Betterment.
The Maryville Pride Lions Club is sponsoring diabetes testing from 1:30 to 4:30 pm, Saturday, January 12 at the Northwest Missouri State University Bearcat men’s and women’s basketball games in Bearcat Arena.
