AL schedules pancake breakfast in Maitland

An American Legion pancake breakfast will be from 9 am to 1 pm, Sunday, June 9 at the Post 256 Legion Building in Maitland. The free will donation meals will feature pancakes, biscuits and sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, cinnamon rolls, orange juice and coffee. Proceeds will go toward building maintenance.

Fish Fry set for Elmo

The Elmo Fish Fry is from 5 to 7 pm, Saturday, June 8 at the Elmo Community Building. In addition to fish, there will be fried chicken, potatoes, salads and drinks. Cost is $9; children 12 and under are $5. Proceeds go toward community service projects and is sponsored by the Elmo Community Betterment.
