AL hosts breakfast in Maitland

A freewill donation breakfast will be held from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, Sunday, February 9 at the Maitland American Legion Building, weather permitting. The menu is scrambled eggs, sausage gravy and biscuits, pancakes, cinnamon rolls, orange juice or coffee.

Fish Fry set for Elmo

The Elmo Fish Fry is from 5 to 7 pm, Saturday, February 8 at the Elmo Community Building. Besides fish, there will be fried chicken, potatoes, salads and drink. Cost is $9; children 12 and under are $5. Proceeds go toward community service projects. Sponsored by the Elmo Community Betterment.

Private pesticide applicator trainings are scheduled as part of the ag update county meetings held by the Extension service.
