275 conference meet held in Tarkio

Spoofhound soccer completes comeback
The Maryville Girls Soccer Team defeated Harrisonville 3-2 on April 25 at Bearcat Pitch. The Spoofhounds fell behind 0-1 early in the first half, but were able to clinch a victory after Junior Jalea Price scored the winning goal late in the game.
Pride Lions celebrate Earth Day with service projects
The Maryville Pride Lions Club undertook Earth Day service projects, April 22. In conjunction with the North Nodaway Leos and Pickering Lions, the Lions planted flowers in planters at the new school additions in Hopkins and Pickering.
Motorcyclists start Tuesday evening rides

Parnell AL hosts breakfast
American Legion 528 will host a freewill donation breakfast from 8 am to noon, Sunday, May 5 at the Parnell AL Post. The menu includes pancakes, biscuits and gravy, eggs made to order, bacon, sausage, coffee and orange juice.

Maryville girls and boys track take home conference championships
Both the Spoofhounds girls and boys track teams finished first at the MEC Championship meet on April 29 in Chillicothe. This is the 7th straight year that the boys have claimed the title, and the second straight year for the girls team.
Derby 150th Celebration is museum fundraiser
