Breakfast set for Maitland AL Hall

The Maitland, Graham, Skidmore American Legion Post 256 is serving breakfast from 8 am to 12:30 pm, Sunday, March 20 at the legion hall at Maitland. The freewill donation breakfast will include biscuits and sausage gravy, pancakes, homemade cinnamon rolls, coffee and orange juice. Proceeds will go for building maintenance.

Sales tax revenues rebound in county

After two years of COVID-19 virus shopping irregularities, the sales tax revenues of Nodaway County are seeing an increase. Comparisons of January and February 2020 to 2022 show general sales tax from Nodaway County consumer spending across the board increasing from $377,665.34 in 2020 to $430,708.04 in 2022. WN sponsors Donkey Basketball

Dairyland Donkey Basketball will begin at 7 pm, Friday, March 18 at West Nodaway School. There will be two games sponsored by the FFA. Tickets are available at the school, Snodderley Lumber Company and Goff Grocery. Ticket prices are $7 in advance and $10 at the door. Preschool and younger children are free.
