FUMC to have parking lot service

The First United Methodist Church will hold Prayers and Imposition of Ashes from 7 to 8 am, Wednesday, February 26 in the parking lot at 102 North Main Street, Maryville. Ash Wednesday service will be at 7 pm, also on February 26.

Community Quilters to meet

The Community Quilters have started spring sessions to make quilts for the Noyes Home children and area veterans in nursing homes. Their first session will be at 1 pm, Tuesday, February 25 at the First United Methodist Church, 102 North Main Street, Maryville.

Ravenwood breakfast to be held

The Ravenwood Community Betterment breakfast will be held from 8 am to noon, Sunday, February 23 at the Ravenwood Community Building. Cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children. The breakfast includes “all you can eat” bacon, hash browns, biscuits and gravy, eggs, pancakes, coffee and juice. Proceeds benefit the Northeast Nodaway FFA.

WN FFA holds breakfast

The West Nodaway FFA will hold a free-will donation breakfast from 8 am to noon, Sunday, February 23 at the Burlington Jct. American Legion. The group will be serving pancakes, biscuits and gravy, potatoes, bacon and scrambled eggs.
