Students hands-on during summer school journey

This year, Maryville opened its doors to all elementary students throughout Nodaway County to attend summer school at Eugene Field. Students in Kallyn Carl’s first grade summer school class have been working on engineering skills.

On June 5, students discussed wants versus needs and then designed and constructed clubhouses out of building blocks. The class also designed bridges and other architectural buildings during the week.
