NEN is a Heart Safe School

Northeast Nodaway has been working with Children’s Mercy Hospital: Project Adam to become a Heart Safe School. Nurse Terry Runde recently organized the first Project Adam CERT (Cardiac Emergency Response Team).

There were local EMS personnel and they reviewed the 911 call protocol questions that are asked in a real situation. The team will have quarterly training. The next drill will not be announced.
