The Maryville Middle School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) recently completed activities to celebrate the national FBLA week.
FBLA officers, Logan Jackson, secretary; Nick Dredge, president; and Dylan Catlett, vice-president, helped to transport the 402 pounds of foodstuffs to the Ministry Center. The items were weighed on the spot and will help many Nodaway County families and individuals. Dredge stated that 350 pounds was the FBLA goal this year.
This is the second year for the games at MMS. Cari Cline, FBLA sponsor, said that the activities and event is unique to MMS. FBLA is open to sixth through eighth grade students at MMS. However, the entire MMS student body was able to participate in the week of activities.
