Maddie Propst and Damen White of the NW Alzheimer’s Association accepted $585 from the Maryville Hy-Vee on July 5. Present were Propst, Travis Buysse, Hy-Vee store director, Deanna Bowers, Hy-Vee registered dietitian, and White. The funds were part of the proceeds from gas pumped at the Hy-Vee Fuel Station from June 20-27. Proceeds benefit the September Walk to End Alzheimer’s which funds Alzheimer’s research.

“Alzheimer’s affects millions of people,” said Buysse. “Anytime we can help an organization that touches so many lives, we’re more than happy to do that.”HyVeeAlzheimer
