A trio of Maryville High School wrestlers have advanced to the state wrestling tournament which will be held February 16 to 18 at Mizzou Arena in Columbia.
Matt Twaddle, Jackson Sanders and Ryan Owens all qualified by placing at the District Tournament on February 11 at Excelsior Springs. Twaddle earned the title of district champ in the 170-pound weight class while Sanders and Owens both placed fourth in their weight classes, 160 pounds and 220 pounds.
