                        Platte Valley basketball hosted DeKalb February 3, with the girls coming away with a 60-12 win, and the boys winning 77-27.

Maryville Senior Cooper Loe opted to stay in Maryville and continue his education and football career at Northwest Missouri State after signing with friends and family at Maryville High School on February 1.

The Spoofhounds hosted 10 teams from Iowa and Missouri for the meet on January 28, and had six wrestlers receive medals. Cash Dew, Dayn Henderson, Tanner Turner, Kort Watkins and Sadler Viau all took second place, while Maven Vette had a fourth place finish.

The Platte Valley girls team beat West Platte 44 – 33 on January 28 to take home first place. Aubrey Mattson, Brylie Angle and Maggie Collins were named to the All-Tournament team with Collins being named the Tournament MVP.

The Platte Valley Girls Basketball Team took down Mound City 58 – 28 at the North Platte Tourney on January 23.

The Bluejays Boys and Girls Basketball Teams played Mound City in Ravenwood January 20. The boys fell 44 – 62, while the girls got the win 44 – 23.
