The Maryville First Baptist Church and Northwest’s Christian Campus House, with support from other campus faith organizations, and some other local churches, are bringing a speaker to the Northwest campus, Wednesday, November 3. The 7 pm event is open to the public and will be held in the Charles Johnson Theater at Northwest Missouri State.

Museum features paranormal happenings The Nodaway County Historical Society Museum, 110 North Walnut, Maryville, will have local author Jason Offutt share stories of legends and paranormal happenings in Nodaway County at 2 pm, Sunday, October 31. Skidmore Community Betterment is sponsoring a Halloween Trunk or Treat from 6 to 7 pm, Saturday, October 30 at the Skidmore Ballpark. Everyone is invited to set up a trunk or treat. SCB will provide hotdogs, marshmallows and candy apples.
The Second Harvest Community Food Bank Fresh Food Mobile Pantry is coming to Skidmore, starting at 10 am until the food runs out, Thursday, October 28 at the Wildcat City Park. The line begins forming 30 minutes prior.
