Diabetes Dash celebrates awareness month

To celebrate National Diabetes Awareness Month, a Diabetes Dash will begin at 3:30 pm, Tuesday, November 1 at the Mosaic Outpatient Therapy – Maryville, east side by playground. Northwest Percussion Ensemble to present concert

Skidmore will hold two Halloween events. From 6 to 8 pm, Sunday, October 30 is the Trunk or Treat at the Skidmore ballpark, sponsored by Skidmore Community Betterment. The Skidmore Fire Station will host a weenie roast starting at 6 pm, Monday, October 31.

TCW collects children hats, gloves, extends collection time

Today’s Civic Women has extended the collection period for hats and gloves for children through Tuesday, November 1. The organization is asking people to recycle gently used children’s hats and gloves in sizes four to nine, gender-neutral colors. New items are also accepted. Elmo UMC holds 73rd Lord’s Acre

The Elmo United Methodist Church will hold its 73rd Lord’s Acre with dinner at 11:30 am, Saturday, October 29.
