Christmas Parade calls for floats, walker entries

Downtown Maryville will be hosting the annual Lighted Christmas Parade at 6 pm, Friday, December 2. The parade route will begin on North Main Street at Franklin Park and end at the Downtown Pocket Park, Third and Main. This is the second year that Downtown Maryville has hosted the parade since its inception in 2014.

Dinosaurs come to the library

The Maryville Public Library is having a dinosaur event for children in pre-kindergarten through sixth grade from 10 to 11 am, Monday, November 21 in the library basement. A freewill donation community breakfast will be served from 7 to 10 am, Saturday, November 19 at the Graham Community Building. It is sponsored by the Nodaway-Holt FFA. Menu is pancakes, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, coffee, milk and juice.

Spoofhound Youth Wrestling set to begin winter season

The Spoofhound youth wrestling program will start practicing November 21, running through February 8. Kindergarten through first grade will practice on Monday’s from 6 to 7 pm at the Maryville High School multi-purpose room. Maryville to host girls basketball jamboree

Maryville High School will welcome Northeast Nodaway and North Platte to a girls basketball jamboree on November 17.
