AL Post 464 to serve pancake breakfast
The American Legion Post 464 will host a pancake breakfast from 7 to 11 am, Sunday, February 12 at the Conception Jct. AL Post. Beebusters to meet, hold beekeeping class
The Beebusters will hold the second beekeeping class from 1 to 5 pm, Saturday, February 11 at Northwest Technical School. To sign up, call 660.562.3022. The next meeting will be from 7 to 9 pm, Monday, February 13 at the Laura Street Baptist Church. All who are interested in bees are welcome to attend.

Museum hosts 2nd Saturday coffee
The Nodaway County Historical Society Museum, 110 North Walnut, Maryville, is hosting a Second Saturday Coffee Hour from 9 to 11 am, Saturday, February 11 at the museum. It is a free event, however, donations are welcome.
Planter Clinic open to NW MO farmers

WN Food Pantry announces February hours
The West Nodaway Food Pantry will be 4 to 6 pm, Tuesdays, February 7, 14, 21 and 28 at the First Christian Church, corner of Third and Ballad Streets, Burlington Jct. The food drop is at 4:30 pm, Wednesdays, February 8, 15 and 22. Numbers are given out and it is first come, first served
Lions host luncheon
The Pickering Lions are hosting a soup, salad and sandwich luncheon from 11 am to 2 pm, Sunday, February 5 at the Pickering Community Building. The freewill donation lunch will also have drinks and dessert. The proceeds will go to Lions Clubs scholarships.
AL holds breakfast
The American Legion Post #528 will hold a freewill donation breakfast from 8 am to noon, Sunday, February 5 at the AL Post in Parnell. The menu includes pancakes, biscuits and gravy, eggs made to order, bacon, sausage, coffee and orange juice.
Skidmore CB sponsors children’s activity
Children will have the opportunity to decorate Valentines Day boxes from 2 to 4 pm, Saturday, February 4 at Newton Hall, Skidmore. It is requested the children bring a box or sack to decorate. All the decorations will be provided.
