A morning soybean field day will be held Wednesday, July 28 at Ferguson Farms located 6547 SE Pickett Road at the east edge of St. Joseph. Registration will begin at 8:30 am and the program at 9. Lions to hold ice cream social in Pickering

The Pickering Lions Club is sponsoring an ice cream social from 12:30 to 4 pm, Sunday, July 25 at the Horse Show Grounds in Pickering. Freewill donation for ice cream, cake, coffee and tea. All proceeds go to Lions eyesight programs.

Community breakfast is in Ravenwood

The Ravenwood Community breakfast will be held from 8 am to noon, Sunday, July 25 at the Ravenwood Community Center. The all-you-can-eat breakfast features eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, biscuits and gravy and pancakes. Cost is $8 for adults; $6 for children. Proceeds to benefit Ravenwood Community Betterment.
