Carrol L. “Bud” Boyles, 83, Maryville, died Sunday, October 10, 2021, at a care facility in Columbia. He was born March 11, 1938, in Rosendale, to Myrtle “Ruth” Boyles and Boyd “Dale” Boyles. Blake Bohannon, junior Nodaway-Valley quarterback, intercepted this pass on the two-yard-line setting up the Thunder’s first touchdown. Later in the game, Bohannon suffered a season-ending injury with a broken leg. Thunder lost to LeBlond, 20-40.
