Sunshine Law training to take place
There will be a Sunshine Law training at 5:30 pm, Thursday, December 2 at Newton Hall, Skidmore. It is open to the public and participants should bring their supper, drink, pen and paper.
AL Post 100 hosts breakfast in Maryville
The American Legion Post 100 and Scout Troops 190 and 74 will have a breakfast from 8 am to noon, Sunday, December 5 at the AL Post, 1104 East Fifth Street, Maryville. Courthouse gets in the Christmas spirit

Mozingo Creek Watershed landowners attend soil conservation meeting

Spoofhound soccer takes 3rd at state
The Maryville High School Spoofhound soccer team beat Fair Grove 5-0 to place third at the Class 1 MSHSAA Soccer Championships on November 20 in Fenton. It was the team’s highest finish in school history. The Hounds lost 1-0 in the semifinals the day before to the eventual state champions, Lutheran St. Charles.
