Street work to begin in Hopkins

Chief Operator Jack Baldwin announced at the May 7 Hopkins City Council meeting that Mid-America Road Builders, Platte City, will be in Hopkins the week of May 15, if the weather holds. Materials were staged in Hopkins last fall, with some street work started. Weather issues caused the company to postpone work until spring. Baldwin
