James LeRoy Hayden, 91, Graham, died Tuesday, May 9, 2018, at his home. He was born February 21, 1927 in Pickering to William and Nettie Hayden. Graveside services were held at Nodaway Memorial Gardens on May 11 with military honors.
The annual Nodaway County Cattlemen’s Association beef cookoff was held at the Mozingo Lake equestrian campground on May 19. Ten teams competed in three categories: beans, brisket and sirloin tip roast. The meat was provided by the association.
