Downtown Trick or Treat has record attendance

The 21st annual Downtown Trick or Treat saw record numbers this year with 78 businesses, organizations and individuals passing out treats on October 27. The downtown area was awash with children and adults. Estimates of the number of children participating range from 1,200 to 1,900, but keeping count was a challenge during the two-hour event.

St. Francis Hospital Foundation contributes over $690,000 to hospital upgrades

The St. Francis Hospital Foundation Board of Directors recently presented a $690,000 check to SSM Health St. Francis Hospital for technology purchases and equipment upgrades. Seven hospital departments benefited from the foundation’s funding. The imaging department received $90,000 for equipment upgrades including the new 3D mammography unit. NW Regents approve partnership to support recruitment, policies

Northwest Missouri State University’s Board of Regents during its regular meeting October 28 approved a contract with an online vendor to provide support and services to increase online enrollments.
